Ashanti
The Ashanti tribe is located in South-central Ghana. The dominant cash crop is cocoa. To grow cocoa you need treeless land otherwise the cocoa will grow in between the trees and you will not be able to get it out. Some street foods are local cuseine and Kabook from beef and peppers. Some of the foods in the gardens in the Ashanti tribe are peas, beans, sorghum, cow peas and bananas.
Other foods they have are okra, paw-paw, pineapples and oranges and peanuts. Boys are trained at the age of 9 to go hunting. All the women cook or collect fruit to help with supper.The women also do laundry even at a very young age. The head of the household is usally the oldest brother
